Terms & conditions
The present Terms and Conditions establish the rules for accessing the event “XXIII International Convention,” which is exclusively organized and owned by Your Best Academy Unip, Lda., headquartered at Estrada Consiglieri Pedroso nº 71, Ed. D, 5º Dto., 2730-055 Queluz de Baixo. The management of these Terms and Conditions is the exclusive responsibility of Your Best Academy Unip, Lda., which reserves the right to amend these terms. This document may be modified at any time without prior notice to participants. In case of conflict or doubt, only the Portuguese version (PT-PT) should be considered the standard.
First Clause
The XXIII International Convention is an event dedicated to Aquatic Fitness, Aquatic Therapy, and Swimming, consisting of theoretical-practical workshops and lectures, with the aim of promoting health and professional development in the field of Aquatic Fitness. The event will be held in Lisbon, at a venue yet to be defined, on October 25, 26, and 27, 2024. Participants will be notified via email of any updates or relevant information related to the event.
Second Clause
The XXIII International Convention is intended for anyone interested in participating in an event dedicated to the world of aquatic fitness, regardless of age. The participation of minors under 18 is subject to being accompanied by legal guardians or an authorized adult, with an authorization declaration that includes recognized signatures.
Third Clause
The complete schedule of the event will be available at https://aqua-academy.pt/convencao/. The schedule is subject to change, and participants are responsible for checking any updates at the above-mentioned link.
Fourth Clause
Registrations for the XXIII International Convention will be made through the event’s website, which offers different payment options, including Debit Card, Credit Card, Multibanco, and MBWay. Any unauthorized form of ticket sale for the event is strictly prohibited. Tickets will be available in different phases, with varying prices. Check the available tickets at https://aqua-academy.pt/convencao/. Each ticket is valid for a single person and can only be used by the registered holder. Any attempt at fraud, duplication, copying, or misuse of tickets will be punishable under the law. If you wish to transfer the ticket to another person, contact the organization via email at suporte@grupo-academy.pt. Purchase receipts will be automatically sent via email after successful payment. If you do not receive the receipt, check your spam folder or contact support at suporte@grupo-academy.pt.
Fifth Clause
Participants who purchase the “Blind Ticket” are entitled to request a refund of the amount paid within 14 days from the release of the page with the complete program.
After the release of the page with the complete program, participants are entitled to request a refund of the amount paid for tickets within 14 days from the purchase date, up to a maximum of 60 days before the event starts.
An administrative fee of €15 will be deducted from each refund request.
The refund will be processed within 14 days after the request, using the same payment method as the original transaction.
Refund requests made after the maximum period of 60 days before the event starts will only be refunded 50%, with the deduction of the €15 administrative fee.

There will be no right to a refund after the maximum period of 30 days before the event starts.
There will be no right to a refund in case of cancellation or substantial change of the event due to force majeure or natural causes.
Sixth Clause
Protecting the privacy of participants is a priority for Your Best Academy Unip, Lda. For information on personal data processing, please refer to our Privacy Policy available at https://aqua-academy.pt/politica-de-privacidade/
Seventh Clause
By participating in the event, participants agree that Your Best Academy Unip, Lda. has the exclusive, irrevocable, and free right to use their image and voice captured during the event (“Image and Voice Assignment”) in any country and jurisdiction, for the production of new works, promotional campaigns, institutional actions, and other purposes related to the event.
Participants are prohibited from recording audio, video, or taking photographs during the event to protect the intellectual property rights of speakers and guest experts.
Eighth Clause
To ensure the comfort and safety of all participants, the following items are not allowed at the event:
- Alcohol purchased outside the venue;
- Illegal drugs or substances;
- Firearms and any object that can be used as a weapon;
- Sound amplification equipment, whistles, or megaphones;
- Unauthorized promotional, commercial, political, religious, or offensive items.
Violation of the above rules will result in the participant’s expulsion from the event, without prejudice to appropriate legal measures.
All participants are expected to behave appropriately and respectfully towards other participants, speakers, staff, and third parties present at the event.
Inappropriate or offensive behavior, such as racism, xenophobia, homophobia, or aggression, will result in the immediate expulsion of the participant from the event, without prejudice to appropriate legal measures.
Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions and the commercial relationship established by purchasing tickets for the event will be resolved by Portuguese jurisdiction, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction.
Portuguese law will be applied in interpreting the relevant legal and contractual terms.
Your Best Academy Unip, Lda. is committed to resolving any disputes extrajudicially, seeking speed and lower cost for the participant.
